Romantic, comfortable and charming Inn. The location is very accommodating to stroll down to lunch, shopping & dinner. The veranda overlooking the river and bay is perfect for sips of wine and conversation or starting the day with coffee. It was a great choice for us and will consider again.

The Bowery Inn was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. It had all the charm and unique details that a structure built in 1900 should have. The decor was authentic, not commercialized, and the arrangements of the Inn and our room was spacious, clean, and fresh. We made good use of the large 2nd story deck, and the kitchen was convenient for morning coffee and plentiful refrigerator/freezer space. As the management states, the walls are not well insulated and sound does travel very easily through the building, but with only a total of 4 rooms and friendly reminders posted in common spaces, noise was never a problem. The location of the inn is right on the outskirts of the small downtown area. This was perfect because the setting was relaxing and peaceful, but we were close enough to walk to all of the restaurants, shops, and water. Bowery Inn was a beautiful and relaxing stay. We look forward to visiting again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Bowery Inn for a short Valentine’s weekend getaway. The entire property couldn’t have been more beautiful – stunning hardwoods, old window shutters, the small details in the decor. Our room was very vintage, quaint, and miraculously clean! Did I mention how convenient the location is? We didn’t move the car all weekend which made for perfect romantic strolls to the best restaurants & wine bars! Additionally, I couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent customer service we received from the owner as well as quick response time. Needless to say, we will be back and we will ALWAYS be staying at the Bowery Inn!
